I don't know too much about Kustom amps, other than my bro gave me this a a few years ago and it always sounded great. A few months ago it just stopped producing sound. Other than that is is/was in excellent condition.

I have never got it checked out and am curious what the resale value of this might be if I were to get it fixed. Also, any ideas how much it might cost to get checked out or repaired? Do you think there would be many interested in buying this amp without knowing the problem?

As you can probably tell, I am short on cash and will be moving soon, so I am getting rid of as much as I can.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi, If its covered in the standard black and was working, than about 400 to 450 dollars. In a sparkle covering about another 100 dollars more. You would have no problem selling it on ebay in non- working condition.

Thanks. It's the standard black covering. Good to know it would be worth that much in working condition. I guess I should take it somewhere and get it looked at.

Anyone know of a good repair shop in Portland, OR?

Hi, I'm in Portland, OR also and just bought a K100 8 on ebay. It has 4 ten inch speakers and and intergral amp and black tuck n'roll. I have had good luck with Innersound on SE Belmont in the past and recommend them. Is your amp solid state or tube?

Except for the new (5 or so years ago) Chinese, Ohio Kustoms, ALL T&R Kustoms were solid state. No exceptions!!! The sound confuses some people. Very tube-like but SS anyway.
