Well as I type this ET and his lovely wife Deb ought to be about an hour and half closer to Austrailia. ( departure time from LA, 2025. ) WE had a great visit as we went over some of my kollection. The amps, the guitars, the organ, whew ! There just wasn't enough time to really do it right but we crammed in as many " looks " as we could. Topped off the visit with a dinner at Augustino's and had them back to airport in plenty o time for checkin.
Oh, they did bring me a copy of the Nashville video and it is awesome. Watching it made me relive it all over again. Bud telling stories, everybody showing off amps and the jam session sounded better than ever.
I'm tellin ya, I've never been associated with a better bunch of people than us Kustom kollectors. ET, Brad, Terry F., Roy C., Don, Jc., Jimm, Dave, and Dan are the best. Period !

So Terry, how do we get a copy of the video. Is it true, I've heard there might have been a 18 minute segement of tape missing, where JC and Bud were discussing the merits of owning a red kustom. Don

Don et-al,
Rest assured that ET has the copies covered, however he will be gone till something like March 17th. Must be patient. ( or fly into LA and come to my house, heh,heh. . . )
Uh - ya know, there just might be something to that missing 18 minutes when the screen goes blue between a pause ! ! ! And somehow the video makes the red seem even redder just for Jc's benefit. ( big smile here ! )

He has indeed landed!!!...G'day mates...from down under..Deb and I are in love with this town and I will regret leaving it next week...there was a band on the waterfront last nite...no kustoms...but good music.. I asked one of them about local shops and he pointed me to "The Venue" store... I'll look to get by there soon.. My most heartfelt thanks go out to the FuzzyT for the great hospotality and for Julie opening her home to us...its was great guys...a mini kustom renunion.. and I got first glimpse at all the kustoms that we didn't get to see at Nashville...and I'll tell ya...Terry has been holin out!!!...man some nice stuff!..SC combos...giant 3x15s...red white blue...oh ...and then...a sacred moment as he carefully pulls off the cover and reveals a perfect blue sparkle organ...the absolute ultimate embodyment of art in rock n roll...thump goes the power switch...you all know that magic sound...and a lone purple jewel lite glows its steadfast radiant promise of sonic attitude...and then the boy looks at me and says..."ya wanna play?"...now mind you ..just shy of a quote or two from my wife that I can't repeat...there ain't no sweeter question that a man could ask than..."ya wanna play?" when you're standing in front of a blue sparkle kustom organ.....oh yeah....I wanna play....where two or more are gathered...there's kustom reunion...thanks so much Terry...as to the video...yeah.. I do owe you guys a copy...I'm sorry...I'm a major slackard...I"ll get serious when I get home...as far as the mysterious "red out" on the tape...its not true...Uncle Ray...uh.. I mean Bud never would pull a fast one on someone just to get a kustom amp...well...?I dunno..maybe if it was like an older one...kinda rare...and RED...he's got a thing for red...but then who don't....love you guys more than you'll know....I don't expect to have ISP service after next week so will get back to it after the 17th of MArch when I return home... ya'll Play Loud!.....ET!
