HAHAHAHA. Shaun, you got it bad. Didn't anyone warn you about this sickness? Enjoy those Kustoms-there are nothing else like them.

Hey, I just seen on you signature that you have an Oscar Schmidt OE30. How do ya like it? I have one in blue, it's a very cool guitar. I like it just about as well as my 1972 Gibson 335TDW.

I love my OE-30. I have a red one. I've played on a lot of those types of guitars, even the Epiphone Dot, but you just can't beat the sound for the price. It's actually my main guitar until some far off day in Guitar Land when I find my dream Rickenbacker 325. It's got a great tone to it, and channeled into a Kustom, it is sounds amazing. I wouldn't trade or sell it for the world.

Just out of curiosity, and to keep the interest fever high, what does everyone play? I play blues (should be obvious from my guitar) and standard rock. Others?

And yes, Kustom fever is incredible, but in a good way =)

My bands in the last 9 years or so have been a mixture of Rock, Blues and Country- everthing from Hank to Ozzie. Lots of fun. One of the two bands I play with now is focused on Chicago, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Santana. Nine piece band with horns. This band was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame March 7,2009. Here is the website: http://www.myspace.com/thesensationalshowmen

I use a Fender Jazz Bass, Schecter CV4, Stellar Flying V Bass, Guild-DeArmond Starfire bass (accoustic/elec thinline), and for guitar, Gibson 335TDW, Oscar Schmidt OE30, Carvin DC400 and a Kona accoustic/elec (cheap, sounds and plays great). All played through various Kustoms, of course!

I play two main guitars. Both strats. One strat is the roland ready MIM that has the GR33 processor that gives B3 hammond, brass, strings, pedal steel, violin and 360 sounds. My newest edition is the VG Strat. 37 different sounds, 5 acoustic guitar, normal strat, Strat on steroids, Telecaster, and humbuckers. 5 tuning modes, and 12 string. I can get very close to a Ric with the tele both PU's and 12 string setting. I just left a country rock and and now working in a beatles tribute/one hit wonder oldies band that with those guitars I can cover anything. And the best part is everything is played through a Kustom K50 single 12". pleat

Nice setup! I can't check myspace on the company computer (I never go on myspace, but there have been problems so the site has been blocked) but being inducted anywhere into the hall of fame is quite an honor. Up here in New England it seems every band is either punk rock or metal. Ocassionally you'll find a 70s or 80s cover band, but these guys are usually a lot older than me and don't appreciate young whippersnappers trying to join, lol...

A 360, as in a rick? Care to elaborate? =) I'd love to get the sound of a rick 360 or 325 =) Any ideas?

You play through a 50 watt Kustom head? I saw one on Daddy's Junky Music's website (www.daddys.com) for more money than I spent on a lot of heads. How's the tone on that?
