Just out of curiosity how many people here, or does anyone here have one of the foot switches for the K-250-4 ??? I just wonder how hard it would be to replicate one today. With the technology we have these days with CNC I would think if someone put their mind to it they could be duplicated with ease.

If you had access to CNC it could be done for yourself, but to do it and turn even a small profit for your time is the issue!

I do have the access to one, and would never think of making them to resell, but would make them for friends that needed one. Might be a cool project. The big problem is finding one to get all the measurements off of.

I am still trying to understand why so many have been lost, but then again there may not have been that many made. I have no idea what the production numbers were on them.

Would someone here mind posting a real picture of one that they have. The one in the catalog is not very good for reference purposes.

The pedal portions of that foot switch looks like one could start of with some off the shelf extruded aluminum stock that I have seen.

What pedal are you looking for? The early versions were the lighted pedals and as far as machining that pedal, would take a lot to make both halves. One half is the cast base and the pedal itself is L shaped looking at the side of pedal that you would step on. The switch is positioned parallel to the floor and the L shape pedal pushes the switch.
I have a couple of photo's of both the early lighted two button and 4 button footswitches. Just too old to learn how to post photos on the site.
