A while back, I had replaced my drivers. Got what may be a dumb question.
The speaker wire lead that has the 1/4" plug on it. It has two wires. One goes to the + nub on one driver, the other goes to the - nub on the other driver, and then there is of course the smaller patch wire going from the oposing + and - nubs.
My question is this.
On the main lead wire that has the 1/4" plug on it. Does it matter which wire goes to which speaker? So, say I'm looking at the lead from the back side of the plug, I'd have a left wire and a right wire. Does it matter which one goes to which speaker?
I hope this question makes since.

Thanks... They are in phase. From the master lead, one is going to positive other to negative. Then the only way the patch (as I call it) wire can go is from positive on one speaker, then negative on the other.
I was just not sure if it mattered coming from the main lead wire.
