Hello,
I just bought a K100-2 Gold piggyback all original at a tag sale, I knew it didnt work when I bought it but didnt care because Ive always repaired my own amps and because it was in mint conditon (No tears, No Cig burns or discoloring) with original jensens
2-12.. when I turn it on the fuse blows instantly..so I took the chassis out and there was a huge nest from mice inside (HUGE) and the wires were eaten through and shorted.. I replaced all the wires and turned it on and it powered up fine and was powerful..(BUT) it has a Fuzz sound..the reverb and trem work great.. I checked the speakers with a old fender and they sound really great..does this Fuzz (Distortion) sound like a common problem?..before I dig into it I thought I would run it by this forum...any ideas would help......Thanks so much

OK Paul, the gloves are off. I have had my order in for a K100 for months now. Actually May 24. Check the "Wanted" board. There are very few out there and the ones that are, are not on the market. Period. If one comes available, let's not beat each other up and jack the price into the stratisphere. OK
Conrad
PS. I have a Cascade and a Blue.

Hey guys, can't we all just get along? There must be enough K100's out there for everyone.
Axe In Hand is located in the beautiful town of DeKalb, Illinois (about 60 miles West. of Chicago). The store opened back in the early 70's, while I was attending college in DeKalb. The original owner passed away a few years ago, but I understand that his son is now running the store.
They were a vintage dealer back when vintage meant used.

I found them in Vintage guitar magazine that I get monthly.
Might as well enjoy some taco`s while your down that way if your gonna go 6 months on water and air!
Old tuck -n-roll marinated in lime juice, then grilled is what my ex wife used to make me eat.
