at the risk of once again stirring the rath of the board...just wanted to maybe remind some of our newer members that all things naugha aren't necessarily kustom...in fact the naugha kat dolls first used as give aways (that's right boys..free..nada..zippo) were what caught the attention of Bud as he brought one home from a trade show and "threw it to the kids in the backyard".. they enjoyed it and Mrs Ross decided that it was an opportunity to do something with all the scrap material laying around the plant floor so she built a 3-4 woman dept sewing the kustom kats internally from the zodiac material...which would have included the sparkle colors and black...not brown/tan. According to Bud, and an A/B comparison thanks to available kats in the collection, there are some diffs in the mouth and eyes beyond the obvious body fabric not using the zodiac colors...just hated to see $150 hard earned greenbacks going for a uniroyal doll when it could be buying a kustom amp...btw...Uniroyal fabric division is back in business as of a couple years ago and for $19 you can get a zodiac doll..thats what I paid for the door prize I brought to the nashvill show last year...at that time they were only promoing the new zodiac pink and purple sparkle colors..but still too cool, they may have other colors now available..check our resources section on this site for contact info for Stephanie Taylor (no relation) at Uniroyal...love you guys..thats why I'm buttin in...ET
