Hi Kustom Gang: I am looking for Kustom replacement handles, vintage would be best, but if there are new replacement handles that would be OK too.
Thanks for the info.

I have been re-looking myself for a while. What I mean by this is in 2001 when Kustom had their reissue T&R amps I purchased the 100 guitar amp and 4-12 cabinet and the 400 watt bass amp with a 4-10 and 2-15 cabinet,so I called Kustom up and told them a white lie that I busted two of the handles and would like to buy replacements.Well they sent me 2 no charge!
I think they still use these handles on a model or two so you might try my ploy and see what they do for you.
As far as other options, alot of 60s Gibson tube amps use a similar handle, but the plastic portion was clear not dark gray/black, so it could be painted.
the problem is that from what I can find out, the company that made them has gone under so you have to find a tube amp restoration company that may still have stock of them.
One other option that is knda close is to use a replacement Fender guitar case handle in black. They mount basicly the same, but I am not sure of the spacing, in fact I will have to check my guitar case and one cabinet tonight and let you know.

Why not just contact Kustom directly and ask if they sell the handles? It looks like the little TR12 may use the same handle, and also the Coupe series, so it may be something they still carry.

That would be a good idea. If they'll sell them, order like a thousand and make them available to all on this board. When I had handles, I offered them to you guys, and I sold all of them.

Hey Snodgrass, if I needed anymore handles, I'd get them... But, I don't need any personally. I see you are relatively new to this board and so you don't know the history behind getting the handles... As a senior member, I do know that getting them before was hard to do and by buying them in a large quantity, a select few of us (three or four) were able to get them at a decent price. When I went through my kollection and had extras, I sold them on this board to other kollectors who appreciated getting them. A large order would secure a cheaper price, which in turn could be used to make them available to others on this board that have good attitudes, it being all done through the willingness to help others. And, as a side note, I think you should be a little more careful of your tone when you post to this site... Since, I can't hear your voice, or see your face, your comment could be taken as being snotty. Just something for you to think about. We are a family here on this site, and these guys all know me... Anyways, it would be nice to see someone get some handles again. They are always needed.
