kasino club L schematics [message #3781] Sat, 28 February 2004 00:36 Go to next message

I have recently come upon a club-L with some burned out resistors on what I think is the power board. They are so fried I can't tell what they read anymore to replace them. If anyone could give me some info on this it would be much appreciated.

Can you find a circuit board number. The club series were the last of the Kasino's before they were discontinued. The circuit board number will give a better idea of what board you need the schematic for. If it is the board towards the back of PA is is the power amp board. The catalog I have for the Club 1 is a 50 watt rms 4 channel PA amp. Don

Hi, If you,ve got burnt emitter resistors, which those probily are you also have bad otput transistors and maybe some bad driver transistors. A ball park resistor value would be 1/2 ohm at 5 watts, although you may want to start out with 2 watters if it did have 5 watt resistors so if you still have a circuit problem you stand a better chance of now popping any new outputs you mat have put in.

I think I have one slightly burned emitter resistor (820ohm, 1W - is that it?) in my Kombo organ (K200 amp). It works, but has a bit more hum and noise than I'd expect/prefer. Should I just change out the power transistors anyway while I'm in there? 2N3055's ok, or something better? www.combo-organ.com

Hi,If your organ has undistored sound your output transistors and their related emitter resistors are ok. I have never seen a schematic or the inside of a k200 organ, but it probibly uses kustoms standard driver board on which the emitter resistors, of which there are 4 are about half the size of your pinky, or since they are 5 watters, 5 times the size of a one watt resistor only these are rectangular and normaly tan or white in color. If your organ has hum and noise, you most likly have a poor ground somewhere internal to the organ. But then again if you have a blackend 820 ohm resister that could be doing some strange things too.

I think I got the board number. It says KEI-I then it is seprated by a few solder spots then it says PC5033 REV I. I'm not sure if they are ones or i's because they are just lines but if you could help me out that'd be great, thanks for your replies.
