Hi, Heres some first step help. Take your guitar, hook it it up, but use either of the other two line outputs (not the speaker output) and either run it thru another amp, or even plug a headphone into it. The volume will be low just thru the headphones, but what you hear should sound clean. If you hear something and its clean the preamps are ok,and the problem lies in the the output driver stage the output stage or both. These amps use moldex plugs to feed board to board, and they have been known to get loose and or dirty.I would slid the amp out of its cab, open it up and rock all of the white plugs around, even plugging and unplugging them a couple of times and see if it makes a differnce.
