My wife found it for me. She was channel surfing and saw this video on a channel called CD. Looked like some kind of Hip hop thing to start out. But right then right after than number on came video of Keith Urban.
We recorded when it came on again. Keith Urban is using a James Burton Tele thru a couple of AC30's. But the real show comes as the camera pan's to your left pass the drummers set up to the bass player.
Standing there tall and proud are two Kustom's. One is a white/silver 2x15. Next to it is a blue 3x12. Lots of good view's of them if you can stop the video like I did. The dome's of altec's or JBL's can be clearly seen thru the grilles.
Pretty cool.

Hey Gene yeah its me. Don't you remember I asked you once about your Kustom on another forum if you still had it right after you'd bought a new amp.
Do you play country or do you live in the country like me? I know Sheryl Crow is seen quite often with Kustoms and there is even one metal group I think it was Three Door's Down I saw with some Kustoms.
I love to see them up on stage. I wonder if Keith Urban will have a pic of them on this CD?

Hi Q - Yes, I do remember you asking about my Kustom. I remembered *after* posting, of course. Actually, I don't play country, but I do live in the country (NW NJ, about 15 miles from Pa.
I know this is a vintage forum (I have a 35-year old K200B-1), but I wish the new Kustom owners would have given the tuck'n'roll series a chance before discontinuing them. A 200 watt 2x15 all-tube Kustom - that would've been cool.
The specs and design of the new "Coupe" series are quite impressive. Can't find any in the stores, though. That's probably a good thing because I'm already up to my eyeballs in amps (3 Bass, 3 guitar). They put some nice detail on these amps. For example: original Kustom logo, some tuck'n'roll, original handles.

Thats me too Gene. Outside of town which is good too considering all the noise that I make. The city keeps creeping closer to me though. I've lived here for a lot of years but I may have to move further out someday. For some reason city dwellers don't like to hear the sound of rock bands thrashing about. Right now there is still no one that is really near my band house.
I would have probably bought one of the chinese Kustom's too if I could have gotten full sized one in one my last remaining needed colors of red. But the only ones I ever saw were the little bitty ones with probably and eight inch speaker. Almost wish that I had even bought one of those now.
I have heard good reviews on the 36 coupe too but once again I have never seen one in a store. It would be hard now days to even use even a 100 for guitar in the small venues of today. We can still use our Kustom's for bass and to power the Leslie for organ as well as a full amp for piano.
But the small tube amp would be nice for guitar in the smaller venues.
