Hey, all. It's another wonderful day in our little eclectic/electric neck of the woods. I just recently put out my first EP upon which most of my guitar tones were made with my trusty 1970 Kustom K150 head and a guitar that matches it pretty well. Mostly used it dry with some pedals, but my next EP is going to make liberal use of that tremolo and vibrato, as well as the reverb when I fix it (classic feedback issue, not uncommon). Stay tuned.

Anyway, shameless self-promo aside, I'd like to see everyone's Kustom-infused rigs! Show 'em if you got 'em. Once I get ten messages in, I can actually post the images, so go wild!

P.S., PM me for the link to the EP if you'd like to hear it, it's CCR, Link Wray, and bluegrass inspired.

My favorite is my 68 K100-1 50 watt with 2 12 cab tuck and roll. With the mods I've done it sounds amazing it was also my dream guitar amp.

can't seem to just grab a picture from my hard drive and add it to a post...help appreciated if I'm missing something simple.
anyway...the pic I was going to share is of my pair of SC150s 4x10 in blue sparkle..and it has a matching Fender custom strat in a reverse fade/burst blue sparkle..
playing those two amps on stage in stereo (via myold Boss pedal board with stereo delay/tap/chorus, etc...oh my..so full
my other big outdoor festival favorite many years back was a 65 Showman head perched on top of a Kustom 4x12 cab (from the slantface 250 series) and I'd use an A/B/Y pedal tp add im a Kustom SC100 2x12 combo...so it gave me the roar and tube sag of that big fender and the quick clean of the kustom solid state that I could kick in for lead work, etc...and it just looked baddas on stage. sold the fender head a couple years back..miss it..but wasn't really playing anymore and felt like a lot of 'stuff' needed to move on.

That's the coolest Kustom, I swear. And a 2x15 is easily the best stage setup for punchy cleans. Love it, man.

K50 is the best amp as far as being practical and the most bang for the buck. I can haul it in anything, carry it in 1 hand, guitar and pedal board in the other, 1 trip, no muss, no fuss.....play any bar or event out there easily.
