Hi
Does anyone know how to remove the screen on a Kustom 150 bass amp?
I am having trouble removing it.
Thanks,
Craig

Oh! That screen.
Remove the back of the speaker cabinet. Look inside you will see how the front baffle board is attached to the outer rim of the cabinet. Remove the baffle board from the cabinet. It may be easier to handle if you remove the speaker first.
The grill cloth is stapled to the baffle board. Remove the staples and you're ready to go.
If you are wanting to clean the grill cloth, Pleat suggests taking the entire baffle board to a car wash and power hosing it clean. I'll leave the details for Pleat to explain.

To clean or replace? In either case, once you remove the back panel, I use a 2x2 piece of wood through a port hole and tap the back loose. What was once a 3/8" foam sealing strip has turned to a tar and acts as a glue. The wood will break the seal. Remove the speakers, and insulation, and you will see the baffle board is bolted to the inside front of the cabinet. The center brace is stapled at one side, cut the staples. The top and bottom 1x2" cleats that the back screws. The cleats are screwed into the cabinet, remove them, unbolt the baffle board and push it to the back of the cabinet, the baffle board will come out on an angle. If the screen is just dirty, I remove the port tubes and kustom logo, and I head to the car wash and use the power washer, wash, rinse, and I use the vacuums at the car wash to remove most of the water. Let it air dry for an hour or so in the sun and put everything back together.
If the screen is torn or has holes in it, then you have to replace it. Remove all the staples that hold the screen and install new screen using a staple gun. Staple around the port hole openings, and put it all back together.
