Hello all,
I need to replace the 15 kOhm volume pot on a KUSTOM 100-2, but it is very difficult to find. Most of all because of the 5/8"threaded bushing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ben

Is the pot physically ok, just very scratchy and intermittent even after flushing it out well with cleaner?
Do you have the pot removed from the board?

I removed the potmeter and opened it. One slider runs fine between o and 15k. The other slider sticks to 15 k till half way. The  carbon track is damaged.
Again, where to find a 15k potmeter with a long bushing?

They are near impossible to find these days.

Sometimes if you’re very careful you can bend the wiper over just enough to ride on untouched resistance trace.

I have a 10K out of a K300 pA I can send you?

Thank you.
I found a new 3/4" bushing 25kOhm potmeter.
Simulating with TINA, we saw that R102 had to go from 10 kOhm to 15 kOhm to keep the feedback.
Result is just perfect.
