I think someone here has a reference for serial numbers (Stevem?). Can you look these up, please?

Your amp was born between Oct and Dec 1970 and the speaker cabinet after Aug 1970 and before Sept 1971.
A check on the speaker stamping can pin this down better if they are still the original ones.

Thanks, Steve! One of the speakers looks like an original, the other two are "Kustom Replacement" speakers, but they still have C12N stamped on the frame, so presumably they're recones.

I'm planning to mic up the one good speaker and record playing some guitar through it, then install the new KEI Turbos I just bought and do the same and see how good a job Kustom/Eminence did at getting the original sound .

If the KEI speakers do not have the same number of ribs on the cone or the same thickness cone then they will not sound the same!
I am not saying they will sound bad, infact they may work better for your tonal needs, but as with any speaker , and for sure any speaker of a given age the will change caractor as you play them louder , so for example the KEI drvers may suit you better ?
