Hey
I'm new here and was wondering if someone has a Vibrato/ Tremelo Potentiometer and Knob for my K50-2 Combo or
a place to purchase one?? The shaft was broke off when the amp was given to me for free....
It is in great shape ( no burns or tears or scuff anywhere ) and it has the Original Kustom Logo imprinted Cover for the amp......
Please let me know where I can get this part......Any help would be appreciated

I will take a look tonight to see what I have since last year I stripped out a K300.

The knob is easy as small Bear electronics has the, it the 500k pot with the switch on it that may be a issue!

I do not have anything that will work, but antique electronics has a 500k pot with a big mounting shaft which is needed and a pull on and off switch oni its back side.
This is not a circuit board type pot and will need to be hard wired in.

I will not have the time to look up it part number later and post it up here tomorrow morning.

Not that these amps have a power supply 60 HZ hum issue that is built into them by a flaw in there design and it's easy to fix.

The issue is that the pilot lamp gets one leg of is voltage AC voltage off of the board and the other from ground, and the preamp section picks up this hum and it gets amplified.

The fix is cut open this trace on the board so that it's no longer powered and then run a tightly twisted pair of wires to feed the lamp and this will reduce the hum by 90%.

The Antique electonics pot / switch is part number R-V520GIB.

The switch section on this pot extends 5/8" off the rear of the pot so you need that amount of clearance.

The switch section on it is double pole double throw type with the center terminal on either row of 3 being common.
There are therefore two sets of switch terminals that can be used for the on/ off function the amp needs.

This pot will need to be hard wired to the board since it is not a circuit board mount type.

I have been doing some repair on a Woodson 150-2 which was part of the Kustom Line in the past days
I have a 60 cycle hum which I think needs Filter Capacitors and believe it or not, Woodson uses some of the schematics of Kustom on their boards
Ill check the Pilot Light which is not working but uses a 2.2 resistor for a fuse which I will check....
This Kustom sight does show on their circuit boards interesting things....

Stewmac has that pot in a type that you will need to hard wire in. It's part number 0347.
