Just want to say that I appreciate this Forum and all the expertise that the people give us on repairing Kustom Equipment...
I think Kustom made good equipment in its days and I still see my music buddies using them....
Just repaired a Kustom Concert L Head which someone had wired in a potentiometer to the pre-amp board circuit and messed things up especially with a hole on the front right side near the Bulb Socket....
Also the output on the back had a blue wire cut loose from the Jack.....Also, they had installed 2 / 200 uf resistors on the light bulb socket to ground...Geez!!
After watching YTUBE and seeing someone re-attach this transistor on their amp to make the bulb work, I was able to snapshot some photos and see where wires were originally soldered in their perspective places...
I re-soldered the wires back and removed the " atrocity" that someone had installed....
This amp works great now and is very Loud....The 2nd input seems to be just kinda plain in its output though...
Maybe the Bass Input...???
Anyway, thanks to all of you from your help in some of my repairs!!
