Hello people, I am a CCR fan and I live in Argentina.

It´s almost impossible to find someone who sends a k200 to this country...

But I found a place that sells a K100 head and it could send it to my home... here are the questions:

it´s a K100 head with tremolo and reverb... i think it´s a a K100B-2 model...

Does it sounds well for playing CCR??? Should I buy it??? It´s about 350 dollars... plus 200 of shipping...

How much is the output??? 50 watts???

HI, That k100-2 amp is good sounding, I used it for CCR Tunes when I played Born on the Bayou and Fortunate son. The Tremolo is about what you want set at 1 O' Clock. The amp is rated at 60 watts RMS at 8ohms. As far as price, you are out of the US were prices are a bit lower here. I say if it makes you happy and you can afford it to be shipped go for it! If that rig is all cascade and has the 2x12 Jensen Cabinet that's a good sound. If it has Altec's that's the best there is! They did offer the cab with a 15 inch JBL D130F but I bet the 2x12 Altec's sound way better Smile

The K100s use for the most part 95% of the same preamp circuitry and the exact same power amp circuit as the K200s, but less 2 driver transistors and two output transistors, so as such they sound the same for clean usage.

The power output is 49 watts RMS, the 60 watt labled tag on the back is marketing ploy!

Kustoms have a alot of gain in the front end so if you place a distortion stomp box after your guitar make sure that when you kick it on it does not run up your volume alot, other wise you can pop the first gain stage transistor!
