Hello, I am a CCR fan and I was looking for a Kustom head... The only one that I could find is a k100-1 model. Does it sound similar to the clean CCR sound?

PS: I am from Argentina...

Yes, amp wise it will sound spot on, but for the lack of reverb which can be over come with a stomp box, but speaker wise you will need to get 15 inch speaker to get the full CCR tone , either a real 60s or 70s JBL D130 model , or a new Weber made clone.

I would guess that if you could turn up a blown JBL D or K 140 model Bass driver you could get it reconed into a guitar D130 model.
Another close sounding stand in would be a new Jensen P15N model, any of these drivers need to be a 8 ohm version to work best with the K100-1.
Another good pick for new speakers would be a Eminence EPS-15C , and this one has the Aliminum voice coil cover which the Jensen does not!

Hello Steven, thanks for the info... After searching in a couple of places, the only speaker that I could find es a Weber 15A150, I think the sound is similar to the Jensen P15N. Another one that I found here is the Weber VST C15N... Do you think any of those will work?

Thanks!

Either will work.
A Alinco magnet speaker will in general have faster compression then a ciraimic ( C15N ) when pushed and as such have a smother top end responce dependant on what your liking is.
Both speakers may need to be broken in some and there are ways to do that you can read about on line.

It might be best to try to find a K-200-2 that did come with the 2-15's. I am not sure the little 100 could push 2-15. Stevem would know that though. He is Kustom guru...........

I am going to use only one 15 speaker of 50/60 watt, 8ohm.

I myself have just acquired a K-100-1. I was skeptical about how it was going to sound but was very pleasantly surprised. I went out and got a reverb pedal and it sounds awesome. They have lots of punch with those 2-12's. I would try a foot pedal and see if it fills the void for you.

I just kept/used the 12" special design speakers that came in it. They sound great to me. I don't use this amp too much as I have several K-250-4's that I normally play through and they are the ultimate sound machine you could ever want (in my opinion). But that K-100-1 really surprised me with the sound that comes from it. I got an EHX Cathedral reverb pedal for it and it is just awesome sounding. Plenty enough punch for most any venue.
