hey try not to make too much fun of me on this one but my ovation magnum bass just pops and has tons of feedback when i plug it in i'm wondering if there's something i should be looking for or if this is an easy fix or if this is something i need to take her to the shop for.......

I would think the first thing to do is to make sure it's the Bass - Not the Cord or the Amp. Have you tried different guitars or Cords yet?
