Hi .Even though this info should go under the repair section, I am placing it here, it seems more people use this at first than the repair colume.Anyway! To all my Kustom friends I know have a good selection of schematics, as follows listed by PC number.5066,5065,5067,5068,103,105,203,303, 403,703,and the power supply schematic for a K250 which I belive is the same for the metal face 150.Those needing copys can mail me a letter sized self addressed and stamped envelope, and a list of the PC numbers you may need. This will be done no charge, unless I get swamped with filling alot of request,I may have to add a expence charge.Send to S magnotti 548 yorkhill rd yorktown hts NY. 10598.

Hi Steve, I have a K100-2 with a humming reverb circuit. Do you have the schematics for that amp? I haven't opened the head to check the PC number.

I think that head is PC1200, which I do not have yet.I have the same K100 model. Does the reverb work at all? If it works very little some ome may have pluged the input into the output which might cause that, or the ground or the sheild connection on one of the RCA jacks may be flaky. I will keep the site posted on the schematic.

The reverb is on even at 0. As soon as the reverb is enabled, the hum is there. It gets somewaht worse with the control turned up. But, the hum still is there with the reverb pan disconnected. It has the apperance of a power supply problem, but there is no hum from the rest of the amp. I doubt if there is a separate filter section for the reverb alone. The main caps have been replaced and increased in size. I will keep looking when the mood suits me. I don't use the reverb too often. I use the tremolo more. CCR you know. Conrad

You know what, The reverb pot itself could be bad. I had one amp I bought, that some one had tryed to get apart to get the f-xs board out and the pot nuts had rusted to the shank and in the process of forcing the nuts off, the phenolic face of the pot cracked, and one leg of it was open.Give it a look next time.Chow.

I have had 3 100-2 heads and two of them had the same problem. The use of a footswitch would take the reverb out.....but I never tried anthing else. Based on my two and Conrad's one, it would seem to be a common 100-2 problem......or maybe a bad run of pots as Steve suggested. I have not experienced this on the 200 series amps. More fuel for the fire! BC

When I don't use the footswitch, I keep an unwired 3 wire 1/4" Switchcraft plug to insert into the jack. That defeats both the reverb and the tremolo. The hum goes away but it still doesn't solve the problem. I need to get in there and trace out the problem, but I need the road map. Anyone with a K100-2 schematic???? Conrad
