Please help....I just obtained a late 60's Kustom 200 amp...sounded great. I tried to replace the small light bulb and tried one from my Fender amp which worked. I must have blown a fuse because the amp won't come on at all now. I cannot locate where the fuse is. Any clues?

You will find the fuse(s) in two places. First, right behind the power switch area on the back of the face plate. On some amps, there is also a fuse at the inside back near the speaker output jack. I only have this on my "A" models and is only for the speaker output. My "B" models only have the power fuse on the front inside. To get access to them, turn the power head upside down and remove the four screws, then slide the amp out of the case. If it is an "A" model, there are five screws. There may be other variations, but this is what I have found on my three K200's. Good Luck, Thrill Bill

The polit light from a fender amp is 6.3 volt bulb, the Kustom is a higher voltage bulb. They will not sub for each other.

Hi, If you are able to solder, get a fuse holder with leads on it and a AGC style fuse for the amperage you need. Put it in and cable tie it down to filter cap wires. The AGC type fuses are far more common to locate.
