Hello to all,

Where and how to adjust the bias of a Kustom Studio 4 valve.

I have to change my tubes and I don't know how to adjust the bias.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Alexander.

I can tell you how to do it, but it would be best if you got a schematic first for that amp from music parts so you can follow along with what I tell your for a visual aid,
They cost all of 20 bucks.

As I recall those amps use 6L6 type output tubes, so as long as with the output tubes out of the amp you have a -53 volts ( negative 53 volts D.C. ) on pin 5 of each output tube socket then your safe to pop in new tubes without burning them up!

With this bias setting the amp may not sound its best or start to clip the output stage at a volume level to your liking , but your safe from having mayhem take place!
