Well we finaly made the big time, or vintage time if you will.In the september issue of vintage guitar magazine on page 74 they have their monthly section of some prices from their 2007 vintage price guide book, and right their in 1/4 page shot is a picture of a K100 1-15 CTS bass amp by ross. Its one of the sparkle colors but the shot is in black and white so I would have to guess from the looks that it would be charcoal or cascade. In the listings they say its a 1969 model, but with the by ross name plate and the aluminum port tubes I would make it to be a 1968.They list it black as being worth 300 dollars in good gondition and 400 dollars in excellent condition. They also list a 1972 K100-5 PA head in a sparkle covering as being worth 400 bucks in good shape and 475 in exc condition, those prices seem a bit out of wack to me!They kist 2 1967 K200-2 heads one in black and the other in sparkle, the sparkle head list of 200 more! With the sparkle head topping out at 500 dollars and the black head starting out at 225 dollars!I have been getting vintage guitar magazine for many years and this is the first time I can recall that they had a picture of a amp in this section, they have had plenty of guitars. I guess I will concider it an honor, I just do not know about their busssness owner particpants that they surveyed for the pricing.

Thanks for the info Steven.....at least it is some coverage. Up until now Rodney Dangerfield has gotten more respect from the general musician public than a Kustom owner. I think it is good news! BC Cool
