You'll want to measure the depth of the bottom part of the 250 head. The 3x12 cabinet may be too narrow in depth to use once removed from the 3x12 to cover the depth of the wider depth of the slant head cabinet. Handle location on the T&R that you are removing from the 3x12 cab may place the screw holes in the material may be in a funky place if you use the material from the wider bottom part of the material.

A lot of work and you end up with a stripped 3x12 cabinet. I'd wait and look for a charcoal K250 head. Maybe use the 3x12 as part of a swap deal to get what you need.
