Well, I'm back at it on this rig. Thanks to the advice and guidance of you guys, I was able to get the cab apart. After trying a number of ways to remove the "buggered" speaker mounting bolt, I was finally able to do so. Problem is, none of the nut and bolt folks around here have anything near it. So, in my effort to keep everything as original as possible, I'm asking if any of you guys might have an extra one of these odd mounting bolts around and would be willing to sell it to me. It would be the stock one from the 1969 era. It's black with a flat head. The threaded side of the head has extended blades protruding that anchor into the wood as the nut is tightened. So, anybody got one stuck back somewhere? As always, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smile

The spam is back Mad - but anyway, I've found that timber bolts have a very similar head and "wing" design. Just haven't found any that are 1 1/2 inches long. Most are way longer or shorter.

I offered to help moderate to take care of the spam problem, but have heard nothing back. I am up all night and that is when it hits 99% of the time.

Yea KB, seems to be the case. I wouldn't mind it so much if they had the speaker mounting bolt that I'm looking for. But hell no, it's just the same old crap! Laughing

I did Steve. I have a possibility that I hope to check on Wednesday. Had some unexpected oral surgery today that's got me back-pedaling a bit. As of this moment, pain pills seem to be under powered for the job. Crying or Very Sad
