Hey Guys! I am not in the box yet! Last Saturday my low volume 3 piece band was playing a birthday pool party. I had loaded a Fender bassman kickback 1x12 combo in the truck but it just didn't feel right. I checked a local classified site and saw a black 150 SC combo. I dropped by on the way to the gig and black tuck and roll was the amp for the job. Another in the fold. Hope all of you are doing well and as ET says, "Playing Loud"

BC Cool

Nothing like a casual pick up and you did not even have to buy it dinner or a drink😁

What speaker combination? I've got a 2x10, have used it for low-volume practice, but never thought of using it on a gig.

The SC for Bass only was offered with a 15", and if you have ever played thru the top shelf SC with a Altec 421 driver they sound amazing!

There also amazingly heavy!

It has the original CTS 15 and sounds great! I agree with Steve, a 421 Altec would be the shizzle.

This goes back a bit but, it also has "Donnies" to make moving a breeze! The ports are 100 Series size.

BC, great to see you back on the site. It's been a year or so since we've talked. Great find on the amp and I know it will roll easy.

I am assuming that's a reference to Doughnut holes / ports.
To be fully discriptive I guess they would be glazed doughnuts since they are chrome a shine😊

It is an old joke within the group. Pleat aka Don does not get pleasure from moving heavy equipment with no casters on it. During a discussion years ago we started using the term "Donnies" as a synonym for casters. Cool

Ah,ok. Yeah, I can see where that would be a plus. I'm the same way.
