Hello again everyone. I appreciate you all being patient with my questions and topics. In the last month I have traveled to five different states and purchased a plethora of Kustom amps.

This afternoon, I drove 3 hours to Petal, Mississippi where I bought a Cascade k200 PA head (4 channel) along with a pair of cascade vertical 4x12s. Unlike my other cabinets, the badges on these say "Kustom by Ross, Inc." I opened the back of one and noticed that two of the speakers are brown and have numbers on them, but two of them are blue and have "12K8 Oaktron" on them. My other pair of vertical 4x12s only have the brown speakers. Just wondering what these other speakers might be.

I have another question that may be silly, but I figured I would ask here instead of starting an entirely different thread. I've noticed that my K250, 100, and 200 all have an air/noise/??? Whenever they are on, regardless of what cab Im using. Is this normal? Is there a way to way to minimize this? I'm not using these for live music. I'm actually recording with them.

#1 Oaktron IS a speaker manufacturer. It's been around a long time, and was used by some OEM's. It's not as well known as others.

#2 My 200's "woosh" a bit also... it's kind of the nature of the beast unless you want to go circuit re-designing. I record with mine too, but recordings are done at live volumes... the woosh is NOTHING compared to that.
