The tremolo feature on my '72 SC does not seem to work (hasn't since recently purchased). It has the original footswitch which doesn't work either. The reverb and vibe both operate normally from channel 1. My question is, does the tremolo work only in channel 2 or must it be turned on from the footswitch...or is it simply broken? Any thoughts?

ONC:
The trem and vibrato are part of the same circuitry. It is either one or the other. If the vibrato works, then the trem should work if you turn the knob to switch it over. I believe that it only works on one channel.

Thanks. It isn't a strong effect on this amp. The vibe works nicely and there is some change in tone with the trem but it seems to simply boost the treble. The amp is sweet, though.
Does anyone have the post number, Deb's I think for installing the grounded plug on this model? I have the original two pronged plug and while the amp sits on carpet, I recall the days of getting zapped of a mic. I am old enough now not to want that experience outside of a hospital.

Hi, if the tremolo is creating a change in tone and not a change in volume then their is a problem.
