Hi all You experts out there!

I'm wondering if running my bass into both channels of my 250-4 can hurt it in any way, or make it run significantly hotter or something?

I have just tried it, to see if I could blend the channels to create a subtle fuzz without loosing any bottom.
It worked tremendously well - very nice sound.

I just used an adapter for headphones, a 1x6,3 - 2x6,3, plugged into channel 1, plugged in the bass to one of the adapters outputs and put a short cord from the other adapter output into channel 2.
I noticed a small decrease in volume when I plugged in also channel 2, but I think that's just because the bass's output gets divided between the 2 circuits, right..?

I really liked the sound I got, and also like the idea of using only the amp's own effects, but I'd rather buy a pedal than risk damage... The decrease in volume can easily be fixed by turning it up a little more... Cool
Can I do any harm by doing this, or is it safe for the amp?

/Peter
