Hey Steve or anybody,
Steve – I know that you have or used to have one of the 4x10 Jensen T&R cabinets from the 1990’s made in China.

Was the 4x10 cabinet sealed? – or did it have ports?

I just bought four of the 50w Jensen tens and I am going to make a 4x10 baffle and put them in a Kustom 2x15 cabinet.
Thanks,
Les S.

Les, I didn't know the new chinese made Kustom T&R offered a 4x10 cabinet. I had two of the 4x12 cabinets in red and they were a sealed cabinet. No ports front or rear.

Its a sealed cab Less which surprised me,as I though that it would be made with a vent slot on the bottom, but just covered with the grill cloth.

I see the new Kustom deepend 4-10 cabs are the same, no ports and the cab looks to be the same size pretty much as mine. They look like they use a Eminence driver though.

I did take some photo's of the Chinese made 4x12 cabinets I had, just to show how cheap they were, 1/2 inch thick particle board construction. It sure would be great if there were an easy way to post photo's on this site. That would open up a of informational value to pass on to everyone. pleat

I have one of those 4-12 and a 2-15 cab also besides the 4-10 and its scary how they are just hot glued together, so I made some 90 degree pine angle strips and carpenter glued them in all 4 connors and around the front baffle on all of my cabinets.
