I have 4 Jensen C15N 15" speakers that are 16 ohm if you would be interested. 8 ohm Kustom speakers are rare.

Sorry for the delay. I guess $75 for the Jensen and $100 for the CTS. 100% negotiable.

I want to make sure I understand you correctly. You are asking for a package price for all 5 speakers. I will do it for $300 plus shipping. I don't think I have enough boxes but I will check and work it out. Where do you live? I can ship them out by the weekend. All speakers are 100% original and removed from service.

Maybe I can help with the impedance loads. Except for a couple of applications, all of the Plexi front Kustoms used 16 ohm speakers. The original Frankenstein amps would put out maximum wattage into 8 Ohms. The A and B series would put out 100 watts into 4 ohms. By using 16 ohm speakers, the resulting arrangements would be, 1 2x15 cabinet would be 8 ohms, 1 3x15 cabinet would be 5.3 ohms and 2 2x15 cabinets would yield 4 ohms. The amps would put out about 65 watts at 8 ohms, 80 watts at 5.3 ohms and 100 watts into 4 ohms. If you want to use only 1 2x15 cabinet, then you need 8 ohm speakers. If you want flexibility to use 1 or 2 cabinets, then the speakers should be 16 ohms. I have a 2x15 cabinet that will not be used with a second cabinet that has JBL E140-8 speakers to give 4 ohms total and the full 100 watts. By looking at the literature on this site, you can see what was offered in each series. The 400 series used 2 amps in each head. Each could power 2 speaker cabinets for a grand total of 8 15" speakers. WOW!!! The higher the impedance, the easier the amp will work with a corresponding reduction in power. If you go under 4 ohms, the amp mey overheat or some other detrimental result. Frankenstein amps only had 1 output jack, this might be slightly different for the PA while the A and B series had 2. The 100 series amps only had 1 output jack and could only power 8 ohms or higher. Kustom did not buy 8 ohm 15" speakers and the 1x15 cabinet would only put out about 40 watts. With a 2x12 cabinet you would get the full 60 watts. The CTS speaker is a 16 ohm but I replaced that speaker with a JBL E140-8. Also, all of the speakers have the cloth dust covers not the aluminum dust cover. Do you have a PayPal account? That would work better. We both would be covered if something were to go wrong.

OK, to recap, I have 4 Jensen C15N speakers each is 16 ohms. I have 1 CTS 15" at 16 ohms. All are original speakers with paper domes. How many do you want and when? And I offered them for $300 for the entire lot. I will have to work out shipping but that is a small issue.
Conrad
PS as for the 150, 250 300 series speakers I am less qualified than Pleat. However, 4 ohms is the lowest impedance that Kustom amps are rated for. So for PA use, 16 ohms is best.
