Hello,

I'm looking for the schematic for the footswitch that was used on the Kustom 250-2 and 250-4 models. There is a four pin connector on the back of the amp that controls the reverb, tremelo and vibrato. Would like to build one to suit.

Any advice or schematic would be much appreciated.

Bye-for-now.

Hi,

I have a schematic for the 4-switch so if You give me Your email I'll send it to You.
Mail me on: kustoms@davesdeli.se

I think the schematic is with 6 wires (one being ground = chassis), but if You skip the one going to the diods You'll be fine.

I have started building one of these and assuming Your 250-4 isn't built differently than mine the function would be that each pin represent one effect and chassis is return for all of them.
Closed circuit = effect off, open circuit = effect on (that's why all effects are on when there's nothing in the footswitch jack and all circuits are open).

Then You can just try which pin is what effect by closing them one by one with the chassis lead.

I've actually started looking at buying a Fender 4-switch and just redo the connector.

BR,
/Peter
