I inherited a Kustom portable stage lighting system model 3351 and I am hoping to find out some information on it. I have searched the interwebs and found literally nothing. The system is in a self-contained portable "suitcase" with a handle for carrying and adjustable legs/braces with twist knobs to tighten the legs to hold it in place (as a table top), and latches both top and bottom portions together to make the suitcase. It contains five (5) 6" conical lights with two (2) green glass lenses, one (1) red and one (1) blue. The other light has no lense on it. It also has two (2) strip black lights and what looks to be a foot control/switch panel, plus all the connector cables and power cable. It has the Kustom by Ross, Inc. logo panel on the top by the handle, and the original operating instructions manual "for Model 3351" - "Kustom Lighting System". Can anyone help me with information about this product? It is definitely vintage...late '60's or early to mid '70's. What kind of market value does the product have? Thanks everyone!

You can find the lighting system in the literature section, click on 100/200/400 and the catalog upper right, click on that that and it will open up the 67/68 catalog.
I had two of the units back in the day. Your description was almost correct. The center light is actually the strobe light. The control panel has the on/off switch with a rotary control to vary the speed of the strobe. They don't pop up often, so I guess value is what someone wants to pay and if everything works. I do have a NOS strobe bulb, if the strobe light tube is broken or missing.

Had one of these back in the day. I remember the 4 corner bulbs were a strange type with multi colored glass, something you cannot find today. The side black lights were kept on all the time to project a "Groovy" mood on anything white. The strobe was POWERFUL and please be careful servicing it, the power supply runs about 1500 volts and there is a big industrial metal can internal capacitor that will stay charged for months after power is turned off!
