Well, I finally got them. Over the summer, I was recruited to do a small sound gig for the village fall fest. This year they had me set up right at the main crossroad in the village. This is a small town, about 5000. My PA is 2 3x15 siren cascade columns and 2 4x12 charcoal columns all loaded with JBL E Series speakers. The whole thing is tri-amped and it really can put out the sound. I have QSC PLX amps running the show. Well my boys and I were playing before the real acts came in, and as we were playing, a man who I did not know, came up and said he heard the Eagles, he loves the Eagles, and just had to see where the sound was coming from. He then spotted the Kustom PA and had to stop. He told me that he had a pair of columns, he wasn't sure the configuration, but they were like my cascade columns but it red. I thought I would Sh*t myself. Well that was in September, but here I am today, drooling and stroking a pair of 9.9 red Ross siren cabinets without ports, and with Jensen square magnets. WOW. I was very happy when he told me that he could have sold them for more money but this was his contribution to the Forster Family to keep music flowing. I mean, I didn't even have to travel more than 5 miles from my house to pick them up. What are the chances? Very Happy

Congrats Conrad!......Everyone knows RED and CASCADE are my favorites! Some of the best finds are in your own back yard...or they fall in your lap some other way. I would rather be lucky than good. How about some pics? BC Cool

BC, thanks I thought the website had been shut down or something. The activity is slow these days. Coming up on the 17th of December, my company is having their Holiday party. That just doesn`t flow right. A few other employees and I have gotten together to to form a band and we will be playing. The stage will be an All Kustom Stage. I will get plenty of pictures then. I haven`t seen the cascade, charcoal and red together yet. All the toys are in a trailer in the yard. There is no more room in the house. Just the sight of all those colors next to each other in the trailer is a sight. I can`t wait to assemble the entire stage. That will be fun. I picked the Red PA up on Thursday night and on Saturday I was winging my way to Chile for a week, I won`t get a chance to polish them until I get home. Polish is a nicer word than stroke.

congrats from this end as well Con...I know those no port 3x15 cabs..they are very cool and tend to be a little tighter/more controlled sounding...there is/was a pair in cascade here at an old lutheran church..they sit in a closet most of the time, but they wouldn't sell to me cause they used them for the youth group on very rare occasion.....its been years now since I gave up asking..but what a surprise to open the door one night and see those things hiding in there...probably tons of kustoms still stuck behind a furnace somewhere in church basements or old schools..

You'll definetly have a colorful stage..I mean what other brand amp lets you do that?

The forum has slowed down..but I think most of the kustom nuts are just pushing through the back end of their mid life crisis...I'm sure we'll continue to see others interested in the jewels...

When I`m on the road, right now I`m in Chile, I always check this board, the one and only. I promised some pictures when I returned, however, my computer was stolen today and I lost everything. It isn`t just the computer, it is the thousands of pictures, and projects and specialty software worth literally millions that is gone forever. I just hope I have a fair amount of the personal stuff saved on CD`s at home. That will really teach me to back up my computer every week or so. So as I drop tears on the keyboard, I think about the things that are important to me. I still have a chance to hit by a bus while I`m here. Now that`s something to avoid.
