First off, a B-5 is a 3rd generation PA head. 4 channels with reverb. The reverb is on all of the time unless a footswitch is plugged into the 1/4" jack in the lower right hand corner. The RCA jack higher up on the back panel is for a slave head or recording out but it is very weak. The head is rated at 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms, total. 2 cabinets, 8 ohms each. This head will work great for just about any guitar, bass, keyboards or high impedance mic. It appears that your head was built on 1/15/69. It seems odd that that head would say "by Ross" on the front panel. It should be Kustom Electronics. A little more description would be nice.

There should be 4 Jacks on the back. 2 are somewhat in the middle just above the center line. These are the 2 speaker outputs. Then there should be a 1/4" jack in the lower right corner. That is the footswitch. The last is an RCA jack at the top and I forget exactly where. That is the record out jack. There have been some deviations from this noted. That head was supplied with 2 PA columns. Check out the Literature section to see what those look like. It sounds like you are using it for bass or guitar. Have fun.
