There are numerous 33 Uf and 10 Uf electrolytic caps on both preamp boards I would start by replacing all of them and cleaning the switches with CRC brand electrical spray cleaner and see where that gets you .
You will not find any 33 Uf caps so go with 30 Uf.

These at least a 10% tolerance on cap values anyway.
