i recently acquired a k200-b (i think) and both channels have distortion in them, is there any way to remedy this and clean up the sound of this amp? if so how?

Hi. If both chennels are like that, get a adapter from radio shack so you can plug into the RCA jack on the back of the amp, and run that into another amp. If that signal sounds clean than both preamp channels are ok and the problem lies in the output/ driver section of the amp. In either case preamp or output/ driver section problem, this will not be something you will beable to repair yourself unless you know how to trouble shoot soilid state electronics.
