K200 b-2 amp need help [message #2870] Wed, 25 June 2003 01:53 Go to next message

I have a problem with this amp when i turn it on. It makes a loud humming noise and i sometimes recieve AM radio signals. The main channel( with tremolo and reverb) has a problem, when i first turn on the amp the signal from the guitar is easily heard from the speakers. As the playing goes on it gets softer and softer untill you can no longer hear what is being played, only loud humm and fuzz. Can anyone help me out with this problem and tell me if there is a schematic for this amp?

Hi,The good news is your output section is OK. If you mail me a self adddressed letter sized, stamped envelope, I will mail you a copy of the schematic and transistor info. A failing transistor is the most likly thing.Mail to S.Magnotti/548 yorkhill rd/yorktown.N.Y 10598.
