Hello Group,
I am having trouble identifying an amp. It says it's a model J595-RV on the back but talking to a schematic source they tell me they do not recognize the number.
Is it also known as a Frankenstein? There are no numbers on the front.
I need a schematic if anybody can help me out.

Thanks

Jim

I hope you're not aTigers fan, but even if you are, I can send you the schematic that you need.

Yes the J595RV, is a Frankenstein head, as the front top panel is taller, giving it a Frankenstein like, high forehead look.

The J stands for the Jensen speakers that the amp originally came with.

The R stands for Reverb and V for true pitch-shifting Vibrato, on the left channel only.

The 595 stood for the original list price that the amp sold for.

If you check out the literature section on the site, you'll see additional examples of the model number system for these Kustom K-200 heads.

Either send me your e-mail or mailing address, and I'll send you one.

Go White Sox!
Bill

Bill, I don't know if you're a Bears fan or not, but the head coach there (Lovie Smith) used to be head coach of the Big Sandy, TX high school team, about 15 miles from me. He's doing a great job there in Chicago, too. We wish him well from down here, so long as he isn't coaching against the Cowboys, of course. Smile

Yes! This year (so far) they're doing great. We can only hope Grossman stays healthy for the season.

Well, if they continue to play like they have been, they're THE team to beat this year.

Lovie always was a classy guy. I'm glad to see him doing well.

I am not much of a sports fan gang, but if you want to talk mid 9 second 1/4 mile drag racing, or cylinder head flow technology let me know.

Hi Bill and thanks for the reply.
Should I contact you off list? I was not sure how to do that.
And, 9 second! It's off topic but how's a little 4 second, 6,000 H.P. Top Fuel talk.
