Ok! Ok! I'm finally adjusting to the fact that I do love these padded Kustom Amps! I bought a K200 PA head for $99 last year, (really, really great shape!), put a reverb tank in it thanks to the support and technical advice from this site, and last week hit the jackpot by buying two 302 PA column PA cabinets for $149.99 for the pair! These have the original 12's and 3 8's in each! What a match to complete this nostaligic sound! Of course the handles were missing the plastic inserts (buffed them back to chrome and presently making oak wood inserts painted gloss black to fix them), had to hot glue a few small cuts on the "tucks and rolls" but the covering looks new with a good cleaning of STP Spray and a toothbrush clean between the "tucks!" Grill cloth excellent, Kustom nametags intact and perfect, the back screws and washers, and bottom chrome foot pads buffed back to a beautiful shine! Yep, I'm into these Kustoms! May make a repro stand for the PA thanks to this site's great pictures of the PA set ups! Presently in an acoustic classic rock and blues band and these PA columns will definitely send a magic carpet ride touch to our performance! Great site and thank you for any response to my new addiction! The PA is the black tuck and roll version.

Congratulations and welcome! The PA columns will really suprise people. I am in a classic rock/R&B/Blues band and we use the same columns for most indoor functions. They do a great job. I picked up second pair of blue columns this week along with a spare 300 head but I have not tried them out yet! That is a good idea about handle repair....perhaps the wood will stand more abuse than the plastic.....let us know how they turn out! What color is your PA? BC

ya never really get used to the kustoms.. even last night I'm sitting on the sofa in my TV room, and over in the corner is my lifetime love, my 1x12SC sitting on top of a 2x12 cab..the perfect stack...the rig is still in pristine condition, and all polished up she just looked great..an old '64 SG leaning up against it...and I found my self instantly back, safe n sound in good ol 1969..all was right with the world....welcome to the gang...glad to have you.... Play Loud..ET
