Can you be a Kustom nut and only own one Kustom?
Well it doesn’t matter because now I have two (sort of).
I just got an empty Krossroad 2x10 bass cabinet in silver.
Cabinet was never used – amp or back never installed- the only hardware that it has are the factory grill and spring handles.
So I have to get speakers, back, port tube, and casters for it.
I’m not going to install a tweeter at first as the speakers that I am getting have good high end and I use a separate midrange driver with all my cabinets anyway.
I will leave the amp space empty too as I will be using this as a speaker cabinet.
Cabinet is all plywood and is very heavily braced –it has a lot of internal bracing for such a small cabinet.
Internal speaker enclosure volume is 2.27 cubic feet – on the small side for a 2x10
(Avatar 2x10 is 3.39 CF, EV B210 is 3.07 CF, Hartke 2x10TP is 1.6 CF)
I’m putting in Eminence S2010 BassLites – see separate posting under "Replacement Part Suggestions".

I tried to contact that Japanese firm in Van Nuys, but got no answer (or the letter came back undeliverable or something). At any rate, I was trying to get a schematic for a 500, but had zero luck and finally gave up.
Ed if you (or any of you other guys) ever talk to Andy again, try to remember to ask him if there are any schematics or other service/tech info available. I did get mine working, but it would be nice to have.
I put EV's in my 210H cab, and it sounds pretty good. I don't know what kind they are - they're unmarked OEM models, cast frame, look like the old "Force" models. A friend got a killer deal on a bunch of them.

Its remarkable isn`t it, you would need alot more amp power to get that change just with wattage baby.
I bet if you add 2 of those plastic trianglar ports, or make a port slot opening in the lower part of the baffel you`ed` be right their with the matching DB.
