What is your price range?
Do you play a 5 string Bass?
What head are you driving the cabinet with?

The KUSTOM 200 that came with it. Originally CTS speakers,but they are gone. 4-string bass.I bought this amp new.(69,70?) Restoring for my son. I was told I needed 3-16 ohm speakers. Found Eminence Delta series 12"s at 16ohms. WOULD THESE WORK? THANKS

Good speakers and reasonably priced...I have the 15's. These were what Stevem recommended for me as well as Pleat. Have a smooth tone and do sound better as they get broken in with time.

Yes those in the 16 ohm version would be a good choice !

The Weber Ciramic bass 12,is a great speaker also that I forgot about, but they are near 120 bucks each.

If your son is gonna play in a band with a hard hitting drummer then the Webers will carry the low E string better.
