Andy is Bud's younger son...when Bud started the Krossroads effort early 90s, Andy wound up holding the company..I spoke at length last year at this time with Andy when he was making arrangements to get my kustom guitar to me and we talked alot about different ways to do tuck n roll without being able to snag the kustom logo again..talk included building new repo shells all padded and ready to go..you supply the speakers, amp chasis, and log plates if you want..we also talked about recovering, but the shipping back and forth would kill the deal...so he thought about repro rigs..I"m sure in the meantime he has probably found a new amp design that he likes..he has many contacts from krossroads which represents the same idea..good EV drivers, pro level amps..be on the watchout cause if they are making gear..it'll be kool..it'll be pro level and pricey probably..but I"ve gotten 10 years hard service out of my krossroads and they are great!...Go Andy!! we're all countin on ya boy! When we "gathered" in Nashville a couple of years ago a guy from NC said he had seen a tuck and roll amp called a "Klassic" We asked Bud Ross about it and he said Klassic was the name of the company that became "Krossroads". Bud said Peavey was raising a stink because they had used the name "Classic" as a model for some of their amps.....so Klassic was dropped and it became Krossroads. Can anyone else verify this two year old memory? BC!

The last effort Andy (Bud's younger son) had with amps that I'm aware of was the Krossroads deal the Bud started, then passed on to Andy to run. I'd have to go look at some of my old correspondence from Andy to see if its the same address...but regardless, he sold the company to a Japan concern based in Van Nuys CA many years ago called Alpha Export run by Hiro Miura. Andy said that he sold the krossroads rights, the leftover cab shells, amp components, fabric and the sewing machines...everything..Andy now lives up North and travels to KS to visit....if anyone has more current info pls add/correct me...
