I need a power supply for a kustom mx 30 8 channel mixer. it receives a dc power supply....i guess there is a converter of some sort that plugs into an outlet to change ac to dc. any ideas? anywhere i can buy one? i tried ebay already. nothing. the port for the power supply is round and has four pins. thanks!

If you do not have a old bad one to get the rattings off of this will be hard. You would need a schematic to pin down if the mixer rectifies a/c that is feed it from the missing power supply, or if that was done in the power supply. most things that use a wall wart style transformer, will on the mixer in your case say what voltage and current the thing needs, and if its a/c or dc.

I have a schematic for the power supply you need, but there is a problem in sending it to your email address.

Hi, I looked over your power supply schematic, and the easy thing for you to do is by a 12 volt DC power supply from radio shack. You need a model that can put out 1 amp or a little more for better regulation, 2 amps is plenty. This will be a 3 wire hook up even though the power supply only has a hot and neg output you need to get ground of the mixer to the frame of the power supply, or frame to frame.
