wow was that a ride... 15 hours LA to Sydney, 12 hours Sydney to Shanghai, 14 hours shanghai to Joberg, 19 hours! to Atlanta...winter in Charlotte, summer in Australia (kangaroo steaks and skippy burgers), winter in Shanghai (snake and I"m not sure what the little wiggly things were), summer in Africa (girafe!), and back to a windy rainy Charlotte 41 degrees...and I stopped by the golden arches today for lunch..oh yeah!.. of course I had to hit ebay..which is never a good thing for me..and boy was there a lot of goodies out there...whats a guy to do?...so one more tuck n roll on the way...gosh its good to be home...thanks again to Terry for the stop over in La...what a great treat..you guys gotta see his rigs..somehow we must get the next reunion to include his stuff. Never mind that I've grown the toys by another 4 rigs..thats nothin..besides..mine are all black anyway..how much fun can that be....course there is BC who seems determined to start his own kustom museum... I really think he's going for the record..and I'm glad to know that this most special representation of 1960s rock n roll is being preserved and played by the likes of Brad and really all of ya'll. As for me...I've got some upcoming obligations at the church for palm and Easter services...they'll seem a bit out of place...but there will be tuck n roll by God on that stage...then its back to my sinful bar gigs and there's some big ol 3x15 PA cabs standing at the ready to do some thumpin. anyhow...plenty of air miles so I'm ready to get a ticket to paradise as soon as ya'll figure out where it's gonna be...Play Loud...ET!

by something?!...man you must've looked like the kustom santa coming down the road from Nashville..big old red sparkle amps in the window...shiny black 4x12 cab filling the back seat...if I had seen a car like that while driving down the road...there would have been a serious accident..in my pants!!...not to mention the danger to other drivers as I attempted to communicate with frantic hand signals and flag you down so I could drool over your cargo at the nearest rest stop....well boys..I'll tell ya...BC has one of the most seldom seen....but best sound cabs out there...a 4x12..and his is in great shape...mine is a little tired around the edges...kinda like its owner...but boy do they sound good...and in answer to your question Brad...mine also runs the KEI which I need to check for the 137...but I"m guessing its CTS silver dust covers..real nice tone...I can overdrive them on the low end with my Fender Showman..the kustom heads they were intended for didn't have that much bottom end but I do run my Showman on 7 or 8 into this cab and it absolutely screams..its my main outdoor rig and I eargerly await the annual city wide events that allow me to dust it off and throttle it up...if I ever find a second cab to match I'll probably have to get a license to use the thing in the city limits...
