It is a non effects head making it more of a bass head, but I use them for guitar as they sound a touch better for guitar and are a touch louder. The two twelves will work for bass, but depending on what brand they are will depend on how hard you can push them.
Kustom didn't really make a dedicated bass or guitar amp so to say, you could use any of them for anything. They all had the same guts, some just had effects and some didn't.

I also have a 2x12 CTS cabinet and it is very nice for bass in small venues. 60 watts is small for a bass amp. Also, remove the rear panel and check to make sure the speakers are still CTS. They will have a very heavy square magnet. The speakers do get replaced over the years.

and maybe a 2 x 2 to knock it loose through the port tubes by hitting it....lol! Some of the back panels really get glued on.
