I have a few questions about it. Number one, if you plan on keeping the amp would it be a good idea? Will it affect the future resale value in a negative way? Has anyone had any good or bad experiences getting the T&R redone? Any advice about finding a shop to do it? I was thinking an auto restoration place would be a good place to start.

I would try an auto upholstery shop - especially if they have any guys that have been there for years....

I would not have the T&R redone unless you are going to keep it.

(Some guy out West had a purple K200 head for sale earlier this year - the picture looked great - my wife would not let me buy it.....)
