12" CTS speaker? [message #26792]

Does this speaker, from an Alamo amp, look comparable to the 12" CTS speakers that Kustom put into some of their amps? It has the same vented aluminum dome as the Jensen C12Ns in my 3x12 cabinet, wondering if it would make a suitable replacement for the one that's blown. (assuming the seller eventually comes off of his asking price a bit)

If your looking to replace one of the speakers in the 3-12" cab it needs to be a 16 ohm one, not 8 ohm like the one on eBay your asking about which is a smaller magnet lesser wattage drive then what the C12N is.

There however is a 12" big magnet cts 16 ohm driver on eBay that says it's out of a Carvin amp ,and that would work!

Well, the one I found is 16 ohms (I knew that was a requirement), but I was concerned about the magnet size.

That Carvin does look good, though. Thanks!
