I've seen photos of what appears to be a K250 (straight sides, no taper) cabinet, which is 27 pleats or 54 inches tall by 14 pleats or 28 inches wide.

It is obviously wider than the K200 head sitting on it.

Is this a PA cabinet or a one off special or???

Mike

Would need to see a pic, btketner@charter.net however should only have 10 (k100) 11 (Frankenstein) 12 pleats k200/k250 so 20", 22" and 24" wide. If I see a pic I may be able to tell you what it is if it is a decent quality pic. Does it have black grill cloth or black with silver in it? What is the logo plate on the grill?

Sounds like a PA cabinet that originally had the horn in the top of it. Horns wouldn't fit in the slanted cabinets. Is there a bolt hole on the back panel that would have been fastened to the horn bracket?

If the head sitting on top in the photo you describe is a early Frank model then that's why it's width is not that of the speaker cabinet.

I am waiting for some more pics, but at this time, I would have to say home made, until I get further pics to provide more info. It is a K200 12 pleat head sitting on a 14 pleat cab that has no puffy tuck and roll. The T&R is there just rather flat and the cab is 4" wider than the head, no handles, no grill logo emblem.
